*2009 Delivery Schedule*
At this time we are planning a trip to the 'west side' of the state of Washington the last few days of April into the first week of May. There is still room for a few goats in the 'delivery wagon'. We will be in the Brier-Mount Vernon-Whidbey Island area. If you want to meet us and pick up animals delivered to that area, contact us immediately for arrangements.
We are also planning a trip to the same general area around August 9.
There is a hefty discount on delivery for this kind of arrangement. Save your gas and time and $$ ! Space is limited however and certain conditions will apply.
We always have unscheduled trips that come up, so contact us to see what's in the works. We may be able to make it work for you!

Hello! Thanks for visiting the Purchasing Page.
Since you're here, I'll assume you are somewhere between "should I get some kind of a goat (or other animal)?" and "I want a goat I saw here". My goal for each potential customer is for you to have the answers you need to make the decisions that will best fit your individual or family situation. From keeping one goat as a pet, to a whole herd, it should be a fun and rewarding experience. That is what I will try to help you accomplish in your goat-buying journey.
Step #1. Ask questions. A lot of questions is never too many. I will always be honest and forthright in my answers. I want you to be informed.
Step #2. If you have chosen an animal from the website that you want more information on, see step #1. I will always describe my animals completely- including personality, compatibility, strong points and shortcomings. If I don't know the answer to a question, I will tell you I don't know, and then do my best to find out.
Everyone is welcome to come out and see the farm, but please arrange an appointment. We have limited farm visits late fall and early spring due to the weather and seasonal chores. There is a designated parking area for biosecurity reasons. Please leave your dogs at home, and keep a close eye on your children.
Step #3. A deposit is required to hold an animal that you have chosen ($50 for goats and sheep any age, 10% for cows, horses, mules). All animals without a deposit are subject to prior sale. This deposit is not refundable. Please, do not send a deposit without contacting me first. I may have to send it back if the animal has already been sold. I do my best to deal with the first customer on any potential sale, and will let you know immediately the status of any animal you inquire about. The website is updated periodically- there may be fewer or more animals available than you see here.
Step #4. Payment Arrangements- Deposits may be received as cash or checks. Full payments in advance can be received as cash or checks. Final payments as an animal leaves the farm must be in cash. Everyone gets a receipt. We do not use PayPal or any other method.
Items to Note:
The buyer is responsible for all aspects of care, safety, proper carriers, restraints and transportation, as the animal leaves the farm. There are no refunds or returns due to biosecurity concerns. (exceptions to this rules will only be for genetic faults involving reproductive abnormalities with a veterinary certificate stating such. We have not had any problems requiring a refund in any animals sold.) We do not ship via airlines. If you require a delivery, we'll see what we can work out with you.
Goats and sheep come with the first set of 2 vaccinations with CD&T (clostridium and tetanus), disbudding, and castration for wethers. Registration papers are included with breeding adults or as noted. (Cows, horses and mules sales are varied. Contact us for details.) Vaccinations do not guarantee full protection against contracting a disease. The buyer is responsible for all additional costs including vet health checks, carrier boxes, transportation, additional blood testing, etc.
All adult goats and sheep on the farm have been blood tested and we have always been 100% clean. See the Herd Health page for testing dates, etc. Our testing records are available.
Breedings for Does and Ewes sold as bred are not guaranteed. Unless other arrangements are made, the girls are held through the following cycle to see if any heat is detected. If not, I assume they are bred. Veterinary ultrasound is available at 42 days for additional cost up front. Bred cows are occasionally available. Contact us for details.
