Home-made soaps (especially those made with creamy goat milk!) are a delight to use, and gentle and nourishing for your skin.  Did you know that almost all commercial soaps, including the ‘glycerin’ types, are made with harsh chemicals, including petroleum products? Now it’s true that home-made soaps are made with lye- which is a harsh chemical by itself, but the natural process of “saponification” (what happens when water and lye and oils are mixed together) changes the lye into something else!  After about 30 days, the soap changes from its original liquid form, to a solid. Then you can use it to wash your hands, dishes, clothes and more!

Currently, I don’t have any soaps available to sell. Since I don’t have much room in my busy schedule to fit in multiple batches on a regular basis, I shopped around and purchased large batches of the ones I liked and sold those instead. Most of my soap makers produced a wonderful product, but unfortunately for various reasons, are no longer making it.

If you have a favorite soap that you would like to recommend, please have your soap maker send an e-mail or sample.

If you are a soap maker, and are interested in supplying a superior soap on an on-call basis, please send me an e-mail message and/or a sample or two to the P.O. Box address on the home page. I prefer moderately priced goat milk soaps, but would look at others as well. All components of your soap must be natural, and scents need to be limited to essential oils. This may eliminate some creative soap makers and their excellent soap, but I want to specialize in this kind only. I am especially interested in a lemon scrub goat milk soap, because we have a lot of bucks here, and this soap takes “bucky” smell off of skin better than anything else I’ve found (except for ammonia- but that’s strictly for the laundry!).

Thank you for visiting our SOAP page. You are always welcome to send

questions, comments, and sales or purchasing inquiries to our e-mail or the P.O. Box address on the home page.
